Are You Horsewise?
Yorkshire Farming and Wildlife Advisory Groups are organising a Horse Pasture Management evening on Monday 7th April at Northallerton Equestrian Centre, North Yorkshire.
The evening event is aimed at those managing land for horses and will provide an insight into:
•the best practice for pasture management •getting the most out of your pasture with discussions on weed control, grazing, seed mixes, fertiliser & timing of operations. •the latest regulations that may affect you and your land •the various grant schemes available. •enhancing the land for other wildlife species
There will also be the opportunity to question the experts on all aspects of pasture management. Speakers will include:
