Brecon Beacons offers 'breathtaking' horse riding
Horse insurance policyholders who are hoping to take an equine holiday this year have been told that the Brecon Beacons offers "breathtaking" scenery and many opportunities for riders.
A writer for TravelBite.co.uk described Wales as an excellent location for outdoor activity holidays, with horse riding being particularly popular, due to the typography of the land.
The Brecon Beacons National Park covers thousands of acres and is perfect for all levels of skill, the commentator said.
They explained: "In the park, the various tracks and bridle paths stretch for over 600 miles around the site, so whether ... keen riders used to tackling difficult terrain [and] beginners looking for an easy path to try their hand at horse riding ... will [find] something to suit."
In addition, old-fashioned pubs and top-class eateries make it a day out anyone can enjoy.
Recently, a forum in the north east of England proposed that more should be done to attract equine tourists to the area.
