British Riding Clubs in Scotland Weekend Extravaganza
A free two day event is being organised by British Riding Clubs in Scotland. It is taking place on March 21st and 22nd 2008 at the Scottish National Equestrian Centre , West Lothian and is open to everyone.
Numerous demonstrations and displays will take place in the arena including Vaulting, Dressage to music, BHS TREC and horseball. There will also be a Riding Test and a Style Jumping demonstration, both with commentaries by judges giving an insight into what judges are looking for in these classes. In addition, course building and a cross-country jump judging refressher will also be on offer.
Feed companies, farriers and equine dentists are some of the experts attending a Horse Welfare Conference who will be available to answer questions. Child protection courses and a two-day Equine First Aid course will run through the weekend.
Trade stands selling a wide range of equestrian goods from feeds and supplements to tack and clothing will be open during both days.
