New horse track opened
Yorkshire has unveiled its new hacking track for horse riders. The North York Moors and Dales Ride offers a 92km round trip that has more than just fantastic scenery to offer.
The minds behind this new rout are the British Horse Society (BHS) and have described the ride a one not to miss: "Seeing this route come to fruition is a just fantastic. It is such a good quality route for locals and tourists alike."
The overall journey would take the average horse rider about 4 days to navigate, but thanks to the tracks layout there are stops to take along the way. The route includes a number of pubs as well as several B&Bs, which also offer accommodation for the horse should you wish to stay. There are other shorter routes available should you take an afternoon or morning stroll in the countryside.
