RSPCA investigate after finding dead horse
The RSPCA are appealing for witnesses, after removing two horses from a field on Oliver's Mount Road, Scarborough. One of the horses that was removed was dead at the time leaving the RSPCA to believe that these animals where neglected and are appealing for anyone with any information as to the owners of the animals to come forward.
The deceased horse that was removed was female with dark brown hair, the other horse was a stallion with dark brown hair.
Alison Wilkinson, an inspector from the RSPCA said: "Sadly we had to remove the body of one horse which had died. Thankfully we were able to remove the other horse and take him to a local vet where he is currently receiving treatment."
