Retraining Your Thoroughbred

The Thoroughbred Rehabilitation Centre (TBC) is organising a series of one day clinics aimed at people who need help with retraining their ex-racehorse. Participants will be able to discuss individual issues as well as observing horses being trained at the Centre.

The day will include a tour of the facilities at the Thoroughbred Rehabilitation Centre, advice on training methods that have proved successful, how to deal with common problems as well as feeding and exercising the thoroughbred.
The course should prove invaluable to those who own a thoroughbred or who are considering owning one.

The first clinic will run from 10a.m - 3p.m, Friday 4 April 2008 and will be lead by Julie Robinson, trainer and yard director. Light refreshments will be provided. Places are available at £100 per person and only available by pre-booking. There will be no places available on the day. Places are limited and it is advisable to book well in advance. All participants must be over 18 years of age. It is not possible to bring your own horse.
For further information and to book a place please call the office number, 01524 812649 and ask to speak to Nicky McDonald.

The Thoroughbred Rehabilitation Centre rehabilitates thoroughbred ex-racehorses with the aim of re-homing them to loan homes for the rest of their lives. The TRC is the original UK charity dedicated to the welfare of ex-racehorses and was established in 1991.
