Terry joins international horse arena
The horse world has recently welcomed several celebrity additions to it community, Katie Price being one of the tabloids favourites. Recently Toni Terry, the wife of Chelsea Footballer John Terry, has been admitted into the fold.
However to be taken seriously with the game, it's not enough for celebrities to buy their skilled and expensive horse they must be able to prove their own capabilities rather than relying on the horse to do all the work.
Toni Terry is one such example, after putting in the training hours with personal teacher Vicki Thompson, she is set to tackle the dressage at London International Horse Show. Terry has bought two horses from Tony Pidgley chairman of the Berkeley Group and has been competing professionally for over a year. To reach the Premier League she will have to show that she is more than qualified and can rival some of the world's experts who have probably been riding before they can walk.
As Terry said she had no intention of simply waltzing into the equine world expecting for it to fall in her lap instead she intends to prove herself through the hard work that every other competitor goes through, so when she reaches her ultimate goal she can feel like she deserves it.
Terry has already has progressed further than Price who has lately been concentrating on her equine sales line and was seen at the Olympia Horse Show signing merchandise rather than competing.
Insure My Horse provides equine insurance for horse and pony owners across the United Kingdom to suit every budget.
