The Royal Welsh Show 2008
This years Royal Welsh Show will be on the 21st to the 24th of July. The show is held on its own permanent site in Llanelwedd, Builth Wells. Gates open from 8am in the morning to 8pm in the evening.
Despite the rain in the weeks before the show in 2007, over 200,000 people attended the event. The Royal Welsh Agricultural Society was delighted by the successful outcome of the show which was staged in the worst weather since the Royal Welsh moved permanently to its current show-site in 1963.
The 2008 Royal Welsh Show promises a display of top quality livestock, over 1000 trade-stands plus main ring entertainment and attractions every day.
The Ukrainian Cossacks are one of the 2008 Show attractions. Their repertoire consists of the tricks and exercises that were used by Cossack warriors who lived in Ukraine in 15-18th centuries and played a large role in Ukrainian history.
