Insure My Horse - Affiliate Scheme

If you have a horse related website you could add an extra revenue source to your website by joining our free affiliate scheme and offering our horse insurance, through a link on your website, to your site’s visitors.

Insure My Horse can provide your site’s visitors with information and advice on horse insurance, horse security, care and first aid, owning a horse, livery yards and stables and horse trailers, as well as being able to get a quick and easy quote from our online quotation system using one of the UK's specialist horse insurance companies.

As an affiliate we can offer you a 10% fee for all sales generated from people clicking through from your site, based on the insurance premium, less IPT (insurance premium tax), for the life of the insurance policy.

We deal with the administration of the policy and any queries that the client has about cover, so you don’t have to worry about paperwork or awkward questions.

We have a new online affiliate member system, that you will be able to log onto using your affiliate membership number, so you can monitor how many quotes your site has generated, how many sales this has been converted into and how much money that you have earned.

What about Financial Services Authority (FSA) regulations?

According to the Financial Services Authority (FSA) "as long as insurance is incidental to the main business of the website, and no advice is given to the client by you, the affiliate, then you do not have to be regulated to introduce potential customers to our Horse insurance".

We are fully authorised and regulated by the FSA and we take responsibility for the legal and compliance matters.

Tracking Quotes and Sales from your website

We will supply you with a text link and a choice of banners, both static and animated, absolutely free of charge. The text link itself will contain a unique identifier that will be linked to your website.

When your visitors click through to our quotation system the unique code is linked with their quote which, in turn, allows us to identify where it has come from when a policy is purchased.

In addition we also phone the clients who have quoted, but are yet to purchase a policy. If after talking to them we then manage to sell the horse insurance policy you will still receive the 10% referral fee as the business still originated from your site.

Our insurance quotes last for 30 days, clients are given a unique quote reference, so there is no pressure or need for them to purchase the insurance policy when they get the quote, so as long as they purchase within that 30 day period their quote will still be valid and we will still be able to identify where the business has originated from.
