A horse trailer can be quite an easy thing to steal if not secured properly. The easiest and cheapest security device is a hitch lock that can prevent potential thieves from attaching the trailer to their vehicle and should deter the opportunist thief from attempting to steal your trailer. The lock should cover the hitch head and the securing bolt to be effective.
