Horse trailer travel
Once you have chosen the trailer you require there are just a few things to remember when hauling the horse around:
- Ensure that there are gradual changes in speed and direction to prevent injury, such as becoming unbalanced or loss of confidence
- Unexpected noises, such as branches brushing on the trailer will frighten the horse
- Whilst traveling horses can generate a considerable amount of heat, therefore it is essential to carry rugs that are suitable for all conditions to ensure that the horse does not become overheated
